Tattoo idea. Boyfriend thinks it's corny?

I was thinking of getting "all you need is love" but he said its really corny to get lyrics tattooed and it won't mean anything in a few years but i believe in this quote more then anything. I think life we're meant to love one another, to care for others and be the best person you can be. Does anyone think this is a stupid idea? And how can it be a bad tat if it something I believe in?

    I like it. It's not corny unless it really means something to you. That's the whole purpose of tattoos. You get things stand by, believe in, like, or anything along those lines.

    Just remember, it's going to be on YOUR body forever not theirs so it doesn't matter what they think.

    Boyfriend thinks that the lyrics to a beatles song will be unknown in a few years? Seriously? Many things transcend time and nationality. My guess is that if you went to some of the most remote places on earth with the line of "All you need is love" tattooed on your body... Most people would know what that meant.     I think that would be a great idea for a tattoo! the Beatles have been a huge group since the 60's, and if that quote has a special meaning to you i'd go for it!

    Tell your boyfriend to be quiet hahah. Boys are silly I know because mines the same way. Personally I like your idea and I don't think its corny. If you like it and believe in it go for it girl.

    That song has had meaning since 1967, so I don’t think it will be gone anytime in the foreseeable future. Not only that, but it’s a great sentiment that would work even if no one had ever heard of the song. If you believe in it, get it. And tell your boyfriend that if he doesn’t like it, he doesn’t have to wear it.
