Provisional license violation NEED ANSWERS!!! URGENT!?
so let me just say i am 21 years of age! but i still have my provisional because i have not had the time or money to go get my regular license ( i live in NJ) so i got pulled over just a while ago for what seems to be mind boggling because the cop didnt even say i was speeding or nothing when he came up to my window so i give him my license and registration so he comes back and tells me that since i still have my provisional license that i cannot drive beyond midnight (which is true i cannot argue with that although i was unaware) but then after he handed me the ticket he just left. I was not speeding and when the cop pulled me over i was turning on a green light with my signals on so i really do not see any reason what so ever for why this cop would pull me over. any ideas?

Are you saying the officer didn't tell you why he stopped you?
Why didn't you ask the officer why he stopped you?
Is the vehicle registered in your name? Perhaps he ran your plates and then ran your name and determined you had a provisional license.

When you're driving at night especially after midnight there's a much greater chance of drunk driving. It was probably just a random stop.
Just in case, check the lights around your car.
