Left Tire making noise?

For the past 4 months...my left tire or it could be something else don't know, but it has been making a noise. Kind of sounds like (sounds funny)but it sounds like a limp. Don't know if it's the bushings or bearings or maybe something scraping against the rotor. I've taken it to 2 different shops and they cant find a thing wrong with it..My fear is that my tire might fall of or maybe the axel might break..I work the grave yard shift and I drive through a very long remote area. Any Ideas?

Ok ...ball joints , a bent wheel rim ( very easily done when we clip corners and gutters),a slow leak in your tube or your tyre , or something causing a bit of mischief..? .and if all else fails, pray !

Being a woman on your own and going into a workshop generally results in two things..

Either they humour you or they rip you off, thinking you don't know what you are talking about !

Being a woman of faith you have an advantage, that they don't know about. You can claim Psalm 91 and ask Him for some angelic help and..

..........I will send you a couple of prayers that work and I would ask that you pray them everyday please and I will pray for you too.

    Ok.. God Bless !

chosen if it were a bearing or brake shoes I think you would of known it by now they make loud scraping sounds usually and some times you can feel the wheel wobbling when it is really bad. however I like Shane's advice just remove the tire using your spare if it stops then replace the tire but you will possibly see the problem when you take the tire off and look at it. a belt that has just slipped over or broken can have this effect however you would of thought that they would of caught this at the shop.anyway in all cases get it fixed sweetheart for we do not want you beside the road alone at night! that is an order lol

Sounds like a busted belt in the tire.

Make, model, year of the car would help. Move the tire to the right rear and see if the sound moves. If not, take the car to a shop.

I would agree that it sounds like a busted belt on the tire. Take it to a reputable tire place to have them check it.

the tire won,t fall off as long as the lug nuts are tight ! it could be a belt busted in the tire or a bad wheel bearing !
