laptop memory question, can you use 2 different brands of memory modules for the same laptop?

if the memory module are the same like DDR3 1600mhz but one is hynix and the other is corsair, will the laptop accept both of them?

    The working equipment helps extra desirable than 2GB, yet i'm particularly valuable the laptop does not. the place do you notice somebody offering a 2GB module for a Vaio VGN-N110G? replace: the 1st Sony link is speaking some situation which you're actually not having. It does not prepare to you. The memory up link does say it may take 2GB modules, which conflicts with what my components say. i do no longer understand who's good.

    as long as the memory has the same rating, is also ddr3, & the same size it will be okay to use it
