Seeing lines on screen?

For about the last week, I keep seeing horizontal lines in the center of my screen, when I try to view my e-mail. Do you know what is causing that? Is there a way to fix it? It's only on Yahoo e-mail that I'm seeing the lines.

    it could be a couple of things

    1 your resolution is set to high

    2 you graphics driver needs updating (most likely cause)

    decrease the resolution & update the video driver. if this doesn't fix it the video is going out
