Should i go by middle and first name combined? Ocean Dylan.?
Ok so my name is Ocean Dylan A_____. and i have always gone by Dylan, the only reason its in that order was to avoid the initials DOA.
But now I'm 18 and i am moving out of town and going to collage (where no one knows my name yet). i have really started to like Ocean. the problem is, Dylan is my name so its kinda wired to change even though its that way legally.
So what about the name Ocean Dylan as how i introduce my self. it's kinda a mouthful but people will naturally shorten it how they like.
What do you think ?

I really like both names!
I think Ocean is an awesome name and would be fun to actually meet someone with that name!
Going off to college is a fresh start on life and you'll have a chance to be someone you never had the chance to be. Tell people what your name is (That you want to be called) and let them choose what they want to call you.
Let them know that you go by Ocean or Dylan. More than likely if someone calls you Dylan you will be more apt to actually turn and look at them because it's what you're used to. Give it a chance though. You might learn to love being call Ocean!

Don't introduce yourself as Ocean Dylan people will think that Dylan is your last name.
Just practice saying Ocean in the mirror until it comes more naturally to you.
