g(x) = 2x^2 - 1 ==> g(-7) = 97 ==> g(9) = 161
(a) Avg. rate of change = (161 - 97) / [9 - (-7)] = +4 (Answer)
(b) Using point-slope,
y - 97 = 4(x + 7) = 4x + 28 ==> y = 4x + 125 (Answer)
