I'm not sure on 1, I don't remember the equation for that.
2. AB=MB * 2 because MB is half of AB
So set your equation up like this: 5x - 4 = 13 * 2
Which comes out to 6.
3. There are 12 different notches on a clock. The clock is a full circle so just divide 360 ( a full circle's degrees) by 12. Which gives you 30. Each notch is worth 30 count back from the 12 hand to the 8 which gives you 120.
