What sort of intelligent designer would dream up allergies?

Imagine if a computer designer did the same. "Well here's your computer. One thing though, if it doesn't happen to break down often enough it'll start breaking by itself."

Intelligent Design is a very stupid idea as there are some many things that show clearly that evolution has taken place.

Allergies are a medical condition, like polio - not a punishment from a supernatural being.

Dogs and horses and other animals have them, too. What sin did they commit?

Allergies say"Stay away from that."

Allergies serve to destroy my day and productivity by throwing me into a fit of asthma, making it impossible to even go up my stairs with huffin and puffin like a penguin.

The same one that would dream up sickle cell anemia, and other various horrible genetic disorders that cause nothing but unnecessary suffering.

If an intelligent designer does exist, they're a buffoon.

Allergies are caused by things common to nature but our imperfect bodies can no longer tolerate. If we were perfect as God first created us, the things that cause allergies would not bother us. Blame it on Satan and Adam for their rebellion.

They are designed to make our angel feathers grow stronger so we have a more powerful flapping action

Allergies were not designed. They are a result of our human imperfection just like all the other illnesses we deal with every day.
