Why should it matter if the president is not religious?

WJ, not true at all. Flat out not true, actually. Many people on the left-wing in politics believe in secularism, and yet, if observed, the left is the most caring and balanced side of the political spectrum, echoing the belief that community and the self are both important, and that people can benefit individually by working for society. In other words, while people answer to themselves, they also answer to society.

Beanie, I must agree with you there.

Doctor Why?, I do find this Kardashev scale business interesting. I didn't even know it existed until I read about the civilization types. That's interesting. Above all, if we do utilize our world's resources to reach a Type 1 scoiety, I hope that we use the resources to benefit people as a whole and keep the environment in mind.

I know for a fact, though, that we are closely related to monkeys. I see people flinging poop (metaphorical reference to the ignornace they spill, of course) at one another every day. No surprise.
