I entered America in 2005 and filled in a Visa, do I still need to fill in an ESTA?
Also, how can I double check that this Visa is still valid? I do not have any paperwork.

hi there,
If you hold a valid U.S. visa you are NOT required to register under ESTA before travelling to the United States. ESTA applies only to those travelling visa free under the Visa Waiver Program. it tells you on the right hand side the expiry date..info on this link..

I suspect that the visa you "filled in" was part of the Visa Waiver program at the time. An actual tourist visa to the US requires an application process that includes an interview. Assuming that is not what you did, yes, you need to file an ESTA and pay the fee.
