why won't my ice cube portable machine work?

i have a Maxkon portable ice cube making machine(black) that won't make ice, the instructions are vague and i have tried all the trouble shooting ideas yet still no ice. i'm afraid it might be broken but i also wonder if i have forgotten something. the shovel is moving but no ice is being made. the water won't move through to the little ice prongs nor get very cold, the deficient light keeps coming on any ideas anyone?
