Where can I get the full story on Hestia?
Can you recommend any website and/or books that would give a full account of her?
I am particularly interested in her myth-story, but information on how she was worshiped, particularly specific ceremony information would also be good. I know she was not mentioned much, but I've heard parts of several myths involving her.

Hestia was the first-born child of the Titans Cronus and Rhea.
Her siblings included her sisters Hera and Demeter, and her brothers Zeus, Poseidon and Hades.
Cronus, leader of the Titans, had been told that his children would one day overthrow him, as he had overthrown his father Ouranos.
He therefore devoured all of his children as soon as they born.
However, when Zeus was born, Cronus's wife Rhea tricked him into swallowing the stone wrapped in baby clothes, and Cronus thinking it was Zeus, gulped it down so the prophecy could never come true.
When Cronus was ' poisoned ' with the nectar, he regurgitated each of his children in the reverse order of when they were swallowed.
Because Hestia was the first born and she was the last to be regurgitated. Thus, she was referred as ' the first and the last'.
Hestia was such a beauty, ..... that Apollo and Poseidon sought her hand in marriage.
She refused, vowing a life of chastity.
Hestia was a true peacemaker at heart. She gave up her position in the Pantheon to Dionysus to forestall the rise of impending conflicts.
Zeus was pleased with Hestia's decision to remain a virgin, and thankful that her passive nature helped to avoid disputes among the Olympians.
In return, Zeus offered Hestia the position of tending to the sacred and eternal fire of Mount Olympus., which she accepted.
In a way, Hestia was considered the chief of all goddesses.
As a much revered significance, Hestia was the true embodiment of a passive nature.
She was also revered as the goddess of hearth and domestic life.
A true personification of gentleness, serenity and dignity !
