    As of October 17, 2005, the new time limit for filing a Chapter 7 is now eight (8) years from the discharge date of a previous "7" filing.

    To answer you yes: They can spend their little lifetime filing bankruptcy.

    Until one day, they have a lightbulb moment and learn.

    Yes, if you wait 7 or 8 years in between each filing. But who on earth would do such a thing?
