How long does undefended divorce decree nisi take?

Hi just need some information here

My husband and I had a court hearing because he wanted to defend the divorce. The outcome of this was he withdrew his decision to defend and I have been given rights to apply for undefended decree nisi

How much time does this decree nisi take to process?

Can someone please advise who has been in this sort of situation before?

Thanks

Your application for a Decree Nisi has to go before a District Judge. He/She will review your file in private when he/she has the time. In general you are looking at 4- 8 weeks, depending on the Courts workload.

I was told 3 to 6 months, it actually took 4. Then 6 weeks and 1 day after you get the decree nisi, you can go back for your decree absolute.

It starts today and last until you go back and take it off or tear up the papers.
