Foreign language books (Spanish and French?)?

I'm pretty fluent in Spanish, and not far behind in French. I'm looking for some books that a beginner could read for both. When I say beginner, I mean someone who's just starting to read books fully in a foreign language, but has a good grasp on vocabulary and grammar. A teacher at my school has the book Le Petit Prince for French and it looks like what I'm looking for, though haven't gotten a chance to really look through it much. I know there's a Spanish version available (El Principito?) and was wondering if you have any other suggestions for me.

Thanks!

    Hi, Spain

I strongly recommend "La cabane magique".

It has a level right about what you need, and it is a series of books, hence you'll have stuff to read for a while :)

It is informative and, though it appears to be for youngsters, I enjoy them very much too.

    Hope this helps!

I'm taking AP Spanish and one of the books we were assigned to read was "Cajas de Cartón" by Francisco Jimenez. It's about about a boy who's apart of an illegal immigrant family from Jalisco, Mexico. It's really good actually. And there is a second part of the book that we are reading now called "Senderos Fronterizos". I'm sure you'd like it. It has elevated vocabulary for a person with a good understanding of the language like you have but it is still an easy read because you aren't having to look up every other word for comprehension.

If you read a e book you see the story how you want to assume it not the way the director wants someone to see it
