(Miscarriage) I had massive blood loss In ER?

I went to the ER with blood loss from a miscarriage that kept bleeding. I lost just enough blood to barely not need a transfusion. It WAS ALOT.

They did an emergency D and C to stop the bleeding and gave me IV's. When I left hospital my BP was 102 / 79

Now at home I feel weak, when I stand my heart beats a bit fast. I eat an iron rich diet to help.

Has this happened to you? Will I be okay? Im scared of my heart overworking

    Sorry about your loss..

A BP of 102/79 is fine under the circumstances. Check your pulse.. A normal pulse rate for a healthy adult, while resting, can range from 60 to 100 beats per minute (BPM).

If it's much higher phone the hospital & ask for a medical opinion.

    Very best of luck.

I would not worry. Everyone gets very ill after a miscarriage.
