Am I the only one who's still mad about Jason going off General Hospital?

I think A LOT of people feel stung and betrayed by Jason's dramatic departure and then resurfacing on Y&R so soon. I think there was more to his leaving GH than he let on. Y&R is a thriving soap and it gives him the chance to spread his wings. I still like GH. I like Carly, Sonnie/Connie and started to like Todd. Icould get used to seeing Sam with McBain but now it looks like he may not even be around that much longer and that bothers me all the more.

Something MORE was going on at GH for Steve/Jason to quit after 21 years, yeah I know all about him saying he wanted to move his family, maybe he did feel like he was stuck in a rut .... on Y&R he will be able to show his acting skills other then playing Sonny's right hand and yes man, he claims he has this wonderful and admiring relationship with the big honchoess Jill Phelps and she snapped him up....I seriously doubt Steve will ever return to GH ........ without Jason, Sonny has been stuck with CrAZy Connie, Sam was searching for Jason and was thrown in with McBain which now leaves his stay on the soap up in the air with the news that his character for legal reason might not be coming back, so you have Sam without Jason and Sonny without Jason and a whole lot of fans without him, but if the fans are upset, or angry ....... it is all on Steves shoulders, it was his decision ...... we don't REALLY don't know what goes on behind closed doors.

At least he isn't off the soaps completely, you and a whole lot others might be upset, at least you can see him even if it he is on another soap.

There comes a time when an actor needs a change,and they must spread their wings and move on.If i was an Actor on GH i too would have left,,after all the Sonny Show has gotten way too much air time.And really its Sonny that should go..omg never in a million yrs have i seen a soap revolve around 1 person its discusting..I stopped watching that show yrs ago..I'm only tuning in now because of the PC storyline all my friends are too.maybe this will drive the ratings up and the writers will keep this Port charles thing going and relize there is more story to tell besides That effen Sonny!

I'm betting they will recast the character of Jason, they have too many storylines and characters that intertwine with him, so don't fret. If you just liked seeing Steve Burton (the actor who portrays the character) he now plays Dylan McAvoy on The Young and the Restless on CBS. So you could tune into that show to watch him.

Don't worry. The only person left to die during the hospital crisis is Trevor. Everyone else will be just fine.

My thoughts:

SB is a little weasel, he specifially asked to leave so he could uproot his family to Teneesee where he could be a full time husband/father away from Hollywood. Yet, the minute he's released he signs a deal with YR to play a contract role which requires him to be in LA 5x a week, that in itself is fine but why make up a lie about it? He should have been honest from the get-go!

Well he knew something was going on in GH so he left..now he is on Y&R..you should try to watch Y&R and see him on there..he is a cutie, I'm glad we got him!
