Make sure the screen in the hose is clear of debris.

There could also be a screen where the hose attaches to the Washing Machine that must be checked and cleaned.

Make sure the hot water valve/faucette/tap is turned fully on.

There are solenoid valves in the washing machine that control the cold and hot water. The hot water valve may be sticking or defective.

Another possibility is a connection has come loose to the hot water solenoid.

The controller may not be giving the hot water solenoid the signal to open and allow hot water into the washing machine. These controllers if they are mechanical, sometime the knob indicator is out of place with the markings on the dial. Slowly move the dila to the start position to check when the washing actually starts. If it starts before or after the start position, the knob has shifted and must be re-aligned. Some knobs just have serrated shaft inserts so the can be removed and replaced so they line up properly.

    Good luck.
