the question is vague, the title of the homework is present tense of ser so is the question asking correct use of ser? i'm a little confused.

No, they're asking what pronoun these phrases are equivalent, for example 'he and I' could be replaced by 'we' but 'he and you' would be replaced by 'you.' For #1, 'mi hermano y yo' would take the same verb forms as 'nosotros.'
