Was the Super Bowl rigged?

It was rigged. With all the press about Ray Lewis retiring, the heads turned about his deer antler spray containing the nfl banned substance, and the published illegal appointing of Jerome Boger combined with the obvious calls that were never made....

I am no longer surprised to see such questions. Every super bowl that has passed, there have been fans who believed that the super bowl was rigged in favor of the winning team. Have you ever thought, that perhaps a team that wins the super bowl, did so because they played well enough to win? I am not suggesting that bad calls do not occur, but this game (with the exception of a couple of questionable calls) was a mostly clean game. Ray Lewis winning was not the result of a rigged game. How about Michael Strahan or Jerome Bettis? Both players played their final games winning a championship, only to retire afterward. Were those super bowl's rigged? This argument has lost more and more credibility. If it were blatant, then I would agree. However, there is no such evidence that points in favor of this question.

the refs arent going to "give" u the super bowl. so crying about the holding call is petty. the game is 60 min so to complain about a no call on the last play i dnt understand. the refs did the right thing and let them play. AND A FADE ROUTE TO END THE GAME TO MICHAEL CRABTREE!!! i wud be complaining about the call more than anything. its a absolutely stupid call when u have so many other options colin frank vernon...really a fade to crabtree...ugh i cant believe that was called when u have so many weapons. colin also had a suspect throw on that fade route, very low percentage play, and it would of been very difficult for crabtree to make that catch regardless of what happened. stupid playcall especially for the super bowl. ravens out played the 49ers...period. they deserved to win. and to complain about the no call is dumb and childish. if u really understand the game and know whats going on then the right call was made. u have to EARN IT and the 9ers flopped on the big stage. to say the nfl is rigged im not even gonna answer if u think its rigged then dnt watch there are still miliions and millions who will:) sry 49er fans the refs let em play a tough physical game and u lost. better luck next year. and this isnt biased because i like the vikings. if anything i was rooting for moss:)

Ray wins after he says he's going to retire, and Roger comes to everyone of his playoff games? Power goes out to cool Ravens off so that San Fran can cover the spread. Denver takes a dive, and Vegas wins the most ever. Look it up, they change the favorite a day before the game. NFL= WWE

Let's not forget the year Jerome Bettis from Steelers retiring and they went to the Super Bowl and won. The NFL is considered an "entertainment franchise" and a sport.

i dont think its rigged because why would you go out and sign people millions of dollars and try to get the best guys in the draft and make the best team to go out and lose a game on purpose like nfl players say your nobody unless you have a ring so if i was on an nfl team and was in the super bowl there would be no way im gonna just lose a game just so someone else can get that ring and if you look at it from a players stand point nfl stands for not for long which means that every year your job is at risk so you only have a couple of years to get that ring. so i say its not rigged

Aw C'um-on !! Sour grapes may be Purple- but They're NOT what the Ravens deserve !! :o The 49er's just didn't "have it" the first 33 minutes of Tonights Game. And the Ravens took Them "apart." So at LEAST give the Credit WHERE it is "Due"...-To Baltimore.

If it was not Rigged, somebody please explain why the Refs did Not Call "HOLDING" on the SAFETY?

A blackout happens when the ravens are up 28-6. weird "coincidence"..
