What brand is best to buy for a 55 gallon tank?

I use a 29 Gal, 75 Gal, 89 Gal, it's all Aquaculture. STILL HAVE IT!

29gal --> 6 Year Experience now

75gal --> 5 Year Experience now

89gal --> 2 Year Experience now

Top Fin, I had a 29 Gal. It didn't last me that long. Plus, IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE than Aquaculture.

29gal --> 1 year Experience - Glas cracked. Water leaked.

AquaTech Tanks, --- Had no experiences

- I think Brands don't matter. Most filters works the same. Most air pumpers works the same. All medicines works and kills same infections.

You just need to read the "ITEM Specified" See if those things satisfy your needs.

For example, Let's just say your fish have ich and a parasite coming out of the tail.

So you went to the store and see these brands below.

Jungle Brands medicines cures Ich and add slime to your fish.

Jungle Brands medicines cures ich and removes parasites.

Ich Attack Brands Medicines cures Ich, add slime, kills parasites and stop further infections.

Stress Zyme adds slime and removes Ich.

You notice how one brand only cure a little. One cures a lot more one cures only that one specific infection?

You would go with Ich Attack Brand because it removes your fish Ich & Parasite. PLUS it will stop further infections.

I use fluval canister filters and i think there the best have a 406 on a 55 gallons tank .

I read once, that the most expensive your pocket can afford is the best. But I think this was more in reference to tank size than anything.
