Now when you say 8 to 10 are you talking about gallons of gas or 8 to 10 dollars? The same question about 30 to fill it up because I really doubt that it will hold 30 gallons so you must be talking about dollars to fill it..

    Edit

Ok, $10 will buy you about 3 gallons of gas and you are getting a 110 miles out of it so you are getting about 36 miles per gallon, give or take a couple of miles. That's pretty good mileage.

You need to fill it up and record the odometer miles and do it the next time you fill it and divide miles by gallons. 8-10$ for 110 miles that is about 3 gallons and it comes out just over 36 MPG and that is fine!

    Calculating gas milage.

    1. fill up car don;'t "squeeze" any extra gas in, do a normal fill up. Write down mileage.

    2. drive.

3 Fill up normal. writ down gallons exactly. This is gallons used. Write down mileage.

Subtract first milage from second to get miles driven.

Divide miles driven by gallons used. That is miles per gallon.

If you do several fill ups and several hundred miles you will get a more useful number with less error.
