What does the idiom "to make no bones (about)" exactly mean?

I found this expression in UsingEnglish.com and this is the definition :

http://www.usingenglish.com/reference/idioms/make+...

The matter is I am not English, so when I looked up in my dictionary, just to check, I read another meaning (or maybe I misinterpreted...boh!) so, I would like to know what your personal interpretation is.

Update:

Ok thanks to everyone, especially for the "American contribution"! :)

To make no Bones about something means to just Go Ahead and Say or Do something without Hesitating or thinking about it twice

A Good Dictionary should explain this clearly . .. like the Oxford one Does

I agree with George. It means the same thing in American English.

It just means 'to be perfectly honest'.
