Rockford Fosgate P2 12'' or Alpine Type S 12''?
I just got my Rockford Fosgate p2 4 ohm dvc and have the opportunity to return it because it is defective, now I can get an alpine Type S 4 ohm dvc in exchange from crutchfield which is the same price. Which should I get because I really dont want to get another Rockford that ends up being crap.

I own the Rockford Fosgate and have no problems. Since you experienced a problem the first time,the smartest thing is to take another type of speakers so go with the Alpine and make sure you're doing everything right too.
