hey guys, any suggestions of piano pieces that really accentuate the concept of an instrument and its repitoire? I like the upbeat, fast and lively songs that dont need the pedal and are mainly staccato.

Have a look at IMSLP website. By the way, music that is played on the piano is piano pieces not songs. Songs have to have singing in them to be songs. If the music is for piano alone with no voice singing then it isn't a song. You say you are interested in piano music, it is therefore also a good idea to get the terminology right and not to use the word "song" for instrumental music.
