Should I take her out to my senior prom?

So last week, I took my best friend out to the movies. Since I had switched schools, I hadn't seen her for about 1 and a half years up until last Saturday. After walking her to her door and hugging her, I finally gained enough courage to ask her out to my senior prom...and she accepted! This is great because I like her and I have a feeling she liked me back during my sophomore year. But one thing she said that I didn't pay attention to at that moment has me thinking now: "It would be awkward." It would be because she doesn't know anybody at my school except me. I am a popular guy, so it's not like I can't get a table or anything, it's just that she won't have anybody else to talk to if she doesn't introduce herself to my friends. Would you take her if you were me? She's extremely beautiful and the girl that I currently like.

Of course you should take her! Just don't leave her by herself, that wouldn't be right.

Introduce her to all of your friends directly, include her in the conversations. That will keep things from getting awkward. If she's quiet during a conversation, engage her in it so she doesn't have a choice but to talk. That will guarantee that she doesn't get left out and after a while, the awkwardness wont be there anymore. You'll all settle in and have a great time.

Taking her to your prom is a lovely idea and another way for you to hang out after not seeing each other for so long. Things may be awkward to start off with as she won't know anyone but after introducing her to your friends the awkwardness will definitely go away. So yes, I would take her if I were you :) Enjoy your prom

Yes, just don't leave her all alone! If you want to talk to your friends, take her along, don't leave her behind!
