Today was my first day of 8th grade!

Last year I took Algebra 1, while all of my peers took pre-algebra(honors) or regular 7th grade math.

This year I'm taking Honora Geometry and also Honors Bio, while all of my peers have either algebra 1 or pre algebra, and regular science. I feel odd telling them I'm in the classes because I don't want to come off as bragging, but at the same time I want them to know so it's not awkward when they ask what homework there is and I don't know. Help! Any tips?

At school we have 5 bathroom passes for one week.

If I have my period, I need to change the pad 2-3 times a day. How do I make them let me go?? There is 100% NO LEINENCY. 5 PASSES IS IT! And I'm in 8th grade.

I go camping for the 3rd to 5th days of my period. It is only my 2nd period. When I wake up there is a ton if blood from when I was laying down all night. The thing is, I'm not that near a toilet in camping. So.. Help

I got my 2nd period yesterday morning, and it was pretty average as my 1st period. It was super heavy when I woke up!! I hadn't leaked that much in my pad, but when I peed, A TON of blood came out. Is it normal, since then gravity was working? Help! I'm going camping tonight!

I invited my friend to go swimming tomorrow, and she said yes. But, after I invited her, a few hours later, I got my period. (A few days early but it's only my 2nd period). What should I tell her and my mom? That I don't feel good or well enough to swim? I would feel embarrased tellig them it was because of my period..?

Of can I swim? I don't wear tampons. (And can't. )

I wouldn't be able to change back into my clothes for 30 minutes after gettin out of the water, tho.

I have a Jansport Superbreak backpack. I am going camping and MAY get my period (we leave the campground the day before I start my period) and want to pack about 5 pads. Where do I hide them in this bag? Btw I'm camping with alot of guys so...

It's a sports bra, but doesn't have much padding, and you can see my nipples thru it. Is it ok if I take a few pieces of tissue and lay it flat inside my bra, just to make sure there aren't any nipples? Btw I change for gym and ppl can see my bra so..

My boyfriend is 22, and I am 21. We've been together a year and a half, and we nearly had sex the other day (we were making out, cuddling a ton, etc. )

So, I'm 13, and no, I'm NOT on a diet, but I try to eat generally healthy. Today is Saturday so It was my day off of completely healthy eating. Is this decent?

Breakfast: 1 Eggo Waffle (Frozen) (Plain) with a glass of Orange Juice

Lunch: (Red Robin) Simply Grilled Chicken Salad (Sub Breaded chicken instead of grilled) (no cheese, no dressing) with Water

Dinner: Pasta with Broccoli and Tomatoes, tossed in olive oil, 1 piece if garlic bread, and water

Dessert: wheat toast with Nutella and 1/2 a banana

Snack: pretzels

So my friend Anne has never been the best friend. She always acts super silly, and you surely can't trust her with secrets. So, one say my freind Sally comes up to me in Choir class and says "Really? I can't believe you would tell her things like that?!" And storms away. I was completely confused: I really had no idea what I had done. So, I go up to her and say,"I really don't know what I told anyone. You haven't even told me any secrets that recently that I would WANT to tell anyone." She said "you should know.." And walked away again.

So, that afternoon on the bus, (SALLY AND I ALWAYS SIT WITH EACH OTHER), I had saved a seat for Sally, but she ignored me and kept walking. So I say by myself.

That evening, I texted Sally and said "Hey, I really don't know what I did."

Sally then said "You told Anne something. A lie."

I thought for a while, then had no clue, so I told Sally "Can you just tell me what I did? I'm really sorry".

She replied "YOU TOLD ANNE THAT I LIKE JOE, and that I'm obsessed with him, talk about him all the time, and even write notes to him!"

I had NEVER EVER done that. Sally had likes Joe in like, 3rd grade, but were in 7th grade, and since Sally and I are very close freinds, I knew she didn't like him.

So I told Sally that, in person the next day, and she believed me. So, we both found out that Anne lied. I'm torn on how mad I should be at Anne, or how I should handle this. Advice? What would you do?

My cousin (25) is in the hospital on life support because of overdosing on drugs and is not showing any signs of life, and they might pull the life support today if he doesn't respond to any if the tests. I'm so worried. How long will it take them to decide to pull the plug if they've only been on life support for 1 day?

I was just told that my cousin overdosed on drugs and was knocked unconscious, found in the bathroom, and is now in the hospital on life support. I might go visit him with my family, but don't know what to do/say when I'm there.

I'm 13 and my cousin is only in his 20s.

I sit by a boy in English and I guess I would say we are decently close friends, and we talk to each other in class and stuff.

He always tries to make jokes during class

And his face turns red when my friends tease him about liking me

It's was my friends birthday this week, so she is having a small celebration this Saturday. (Yay! My friend, her mom, me, and our other close friend are going to a town about an hour away to eat lunch and go to a zoo and shopping outlet. I was wondering what I should wear (it's a burger place so nothing dressy- we aren't the dressy type). What should I wear, and what should I take along. (Other than her present)
