Where did your parents meet each other?

Well they actually met the first time and talked on their wedding night. It was an arranged marriage and my mum was busy with med school and my dad with his job so they didn't really care all that much about meeting one another. Which is probably why they got along so great, they were both career driven and brilliant people. People don't think love can occur in arranged marriages and they must all end badly but my parents couldn't be happier and on the same page pertaining to most subjects. They are quite in love and have one of the most trusting relationships I've ever seen.

Naturally like every couple they fight, but not as much as I've seen marriages that were out of love have. They both went in with zero expectations, got to know one another and expanded and learned to deal with eachothers faults. I know a lot of people are against the idea of an arranged marriage, but i think people with the right mind set could pull them off easily. But alas you never get to hear about the ones that are great, only the ones that end terribly.

They wouldn't even consider the idea for me, they expect me to find someone. *sigh, its a long long path. =/

You know how they say something like "We fell into each other's arms?" That almost literally happened with my parents. My aunt was moving out of my grandparents' house, and her friend helped her move, and he knew my father, and so my father went along for the ride when my aunt's friend helped her move, and my mother was tagging along for the ride, as well, and when my mother got in the back seat of the car, my father was already sitting there with his arm out and resting on the back of the seat, as if it was an arm rest, and my mother ended up sitting where my father's arm was extended out. So, my parents met in the back seat of a car, with my father's arm around where my mother sat down.

My mother and my father met at Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits in the 90s my mom was 19 years old and my dad was 29 years old.

College.

my mom was like 18 i think working at mcdonalds and my dad worked at the same mcdonalds when he was 19. they met in 1987, dated for 6 days, my mom proposed to him my dad drunk, the were engaged for 4 years thinking that my dad would graduate by then, it took him 10 years, so they said **** it at the 4th year of being engaged and got married in the chapel of love in 1991 and the chapel is now called a little chapel in vegas. then in 2002 they had me

My Mother was a new Teller at a Bank Drive-Thru, when my Dad ( to be ) pulled up. Turns out He would make a LOT more "Deposits"- after THAT !! ;)
