Milk drying up after 6 months?
I have been successfully breastfeeding for 6 months (tomorrow). Exclusively. She has never had a bottle. I pump every once in a while, nothing on a schedule. The past week or so she has been acting different. She is waking up 4-5 times a night wanting to eat. She stopped taking her 3 naps a day and is down to only one short one. She gets frustrated at the breast to the point of no return lol. She is not on solids. Nothing in my diet or routine has changed. Any ideas about what is going on?? Thanks for your help!

It is recommended to start babies on solids at six months! This might be why she is getting frustrated. She is probably trying to let you know that she is ready for more food! We started with my daughter at that time and she loved it. I would suggest finding some fresh fruits and vegetables and grind them up for her! Or you could try baby led weaning (I'll put a link in the source for more information!)
As for your supply, there are "milk cookies" you can make at home. There are a ton of different recipes online that you can just google! I'll add one in the source for example. My friend has made them and her supply increased a ton after just a few days!
If you don't, I would suggest hand expressing more. Just to keep your supply going!
I wish you both the best of luck!

I don't agree with the above comment, humans are made to breast feed until 4, however in this day and age that's rediculous and unheard of, however it means the baby won't get pull away from the breast until that age unless you make the first move. However u should introduce solids as well as breast milk. Me and my brother were on breast milk at bedtime until we were 2. My cousin had it at bedtime until she was almost 4 which I think is gross lol but she actually is the most healthiest person I know.

I don't think it's you or your supply. I think it's her age. She might be starting to be ready for solids, but it's common for babies to get restless at around this time.

could be a growth spurt and she's more hungry now. it may be time to start her on some pureed fruits and veggies.
