Northern Shaolin Kung Fu Uniform?
I'm just wondering if there's a specific sort of uniform that a student of Northern Shaolin Kung Fu is supposed to wear, or if this just depends on the teacher and school.

The Chinese Uniforms are red athletic polyester pants and matching red tops (I hate wearing them), or red tops and black pants depending on the school for training. For demos, performances and competition they are either yellow/orange monk uniforms or grey monk uniforms or silks depending on what form they do. Since China is very poor not that much emphasis is placed on clothing and often you will find students train in whatever they have.

It depends on the teacher. Unless it is specifically the Shaolin Temple, there is no standardized uniform for kung fu schools outside of the temple.

in most cases they wear old chinese clothes some like robes and other types of chinese clothes.
