Subaru Impreza STI: 305 HP 290 lb-ft torque, all wheel drive, 6-speed manual and 3,470 pounds,11.38 pounds/HP

The Subaru will suck the doors off the Civic Si.

The stock WRX STi will waist a stock Civic Si any day of the week without question. I have done it!

Longevity the Civic is the obvious choice.

I heard the STI has tons of transmission problems. They both are rice burners. I can think of plenty of cars faster and better. I would choose a si over the sti just for quality.

I don't even know if this is a troll or a serious question. A purpose-built rally car with a turbocharger and all-wheel drive versus a barely-warm Civic? Hell, even the regular WRX is a better performer.

stock, the wrx sti will eat that civic si up any day. don't believe me watch it on youtube. as far as quaility wise, it depends how hard you drive it and how well you take care of it.

both cars are fast,,,but you can almost have 2 Hondas for what you will pay for the Subaru,,,resale is also much better on the Honda,but chances are you will like the Honda enough that you wont want to resell,my 86 Civic is still worth 60% of what I paid for it new and I never worry about going anywhere in it,in any weather

Better=Si

Faster and better handling=STI by far.
