smocking L200 gray smoke?
it run a big end about a year ago, have run engine to move it a couple of times an was starting to get a lot of blue and white exhaust fumes (as bad as couldn't see the back of it ) bought a 2nd hand "bare" engine(block with the head and everything like that fitted) and put all the rest, turbo ,inter-cooler injectors and pump etc from the old engine on, I have lots of grey smoke coming from it now, have replaced the fuel, well filled the filter and worked a gravity feed to it and just the same.could it be the turbo ? also a black carbon in exhaust,its a diesel one and engine has a guarantee

Hi so you still have major issues well having seen two of these blow up in the past it appears they have a bad track record for being unreliable despite the stupid adverts on the television.
yes you have got problems the engine is not right the turbo does suffer with it's oil supply hence why they blow and your second engine is just about to go like the first one 2nd hand anything is always going to be dodgy with some makes and this one does seem to be one of those.
