Do I have an allergy to lipstain?
I don't ever wear lipstick, just Chapstick. So, a few weeks ago I decided I wanted to try some out. I bought some lipstick by maybelline and its been fine. Then I bought a lipstain by maybelline and my lips got severely chapped, and they are numb in some spots and they burn. Could his be an allergy?

It could be but sounds more like an irritation to me. Some lipstains are very drying and once your lips are dry, they are more prone to breaking which will cause them to burn. The numbing is likely attributed to one or more ingredients in the lipstain. Just don't use it anymore. Most of the lipstains I've tried have been nothing less of horrible. The only one that didn't irritate my lips was OCC Lip Tar which is kind of pricey but it actually stays put.

Yes, it sounds like an allergic reaction to the stain....may not have allergy 2 all stain could just b that 1, wait till healed and try another brand or now u can make home made stains out of things like pomagranet which is a fruit and works well. Try taking some benedryl for relief
