wwe not using an amazing opportunity?

One thing WCW did well was at first the nWo. Only in the beginning though. I think it was a complete shock to everyone when the biggest face/name ever in wrestling hulk hogan turns heel. What wwe could do is turn cena heel. He's only been heel once when he first started his rapper gimmick. Plus I think the fans wouldn't know what to do anyways cause half of them already legit hate him. Do u think the company could do well with cena as heel?

    I absolutely disagree.

Hogan turned heel because he was already very stale as a babyface. Nobody loved him anymore in WCW, including the kids. Everyone booed him. And back then, there was Sting, who could take over Hogan's spot as the biggest babyface in the company.

With Cena, it would be a complete waste. Cena still loved by women and kids, and his merchandise still give WWE a lot of profit. And there's no one currently who could take over Cena's spot as number one babyface in WWE.

Exactly the same thoughts as mine. Kids love heels and faces and to turn Cena heel would be awesome and a very long time coming. He has been face now for like 8 years with the same gimmick.

Come on WWE pull something out of the hat. Cena has at least another 10 years if not more in him.

He wont retire lightly because wrestling is Cena's life and i cannot see that changing. Cena is still quite young only in his 30's so for the above person to say he's near retiring age, i don't think so. Look at Flair? Hogan? Undertaker? Kevin Nash? Sting? they are all like over 50 years old and still going.....! To be fair aswell, Cena is not injury prone and is quite healthy. All he needs is a good heel gimmick. Yes then others can get their rightful push such as Drew Mcintyre, Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz (he desrves another shot at least) Zack Ryder too amonsg others.

That's a good idea and an example. Well, Cena is today's so-called Hulk Hogan. I'm not sure whether Cena's heel turn will still keep him on the top but with that rapper gimmick he can create wonders for WWE. As he's almost about to retire within few years, it is better if WWE pushes him as a heel after WM-29 or Summer Slam. A perfect storyline for this is he losing the WWE title to Brock Lesnar and gets injured very badly (kayfabe) in that match and by next month of that PPV he returns to Raw and attacks anyone of the faces like The Shield uses- "Attacking Faces but saving the Heels." This will be a huge turn for WWE creative team as well as Cena bcoz there will be somewhat more deserving pushes like Wade Barrett, The Miz, Antonio Cesaro, Kofi Kingston, Cody Rhodes to reach to the top and battle it out against JOHN CENA.

They should do that. No heel turn so far has matched up to Hogan's. It came out of nowhere and shocked people. I could see the same thing happening with Cena.

@TK13 - No way does Cena have 10 years of wrestling left in him. He's been wrestling hurt for several months now and it's been reported that after one more title run he's going to take some time off, possibly up to a full year. Also, Sting is the only one of those people "still going." Ric Flair hasn't wrestled in a year and a half, same with Hulk Hogan (plus he can barely walk sometimes now), The Undertaker is at less than 50%, only wrestles once a year, and might not even compete at WM this year, Kevin Nash has only wrestled once since his TLC match against Triple H, and in that one match (in JCW) since then, he teamed up with X-Pac, who did most of the work for that team.

Most of the superstars are face and heel throughout their careers. Some go back & forth more than others. Cena is stale and that's why half the fans hate him. If WWE is so concerned with merchandise sales, they need to figure the people that would stop buying Cena stuff would be offset by the ones that would start buying Cena stuff. CM Punk merchandise went through the roof in 2011 after his pipe bomb promo.

Heels still do the Make-A-Wish foundation. It's ok to get out of character when it comes to sick kids. He could continue that.

"I think it was a complete shock to everyone" heres the reason everyone is EXPECTING him to turn heel so obviously it has to be the perfect opportunity where you wouldnt think he would
