Why do I have a dream where suddenly I collapse under my feet and then I can't walk?
Every night for the past couple weeks I have been having a dream where I am walking just fine, and then all of a sudden I fall over and when I get up it is almost impossible for me to walk. Someone in my dream either has to help me, or I have to hold onto something, but it's really weird, and it's like I can feel myself not able to walk.
Does anyone know what causes this or what this means in terms of dreams?

Symbols can be confusing, often they have more than one meaning.
Sometimes you are told to "stand on your own two feet." Meaning you should
be independent and self reliant.
But another connotation for feet is "understanding" And since it repeats
which indicates that you still haven't gotten the correct message,
it probably has to do with thinking differently about something important
in your life.
Like your understanding about something need a lot of support. Maybe it is
a faulty belief about something. You have an opportunity to search your
mind for whatever it is that needs correcting in your thinking.
Religion, resentments, friendships, even diet affects dreaming causing nightmares.
