The Benedictine order traditionally said this Pope would come from their order, since a branch of the Benedictine order is called the Olivetans. St Benedict is said to have prophesied that before the end of the world, a member of his order would be Pope and would triumphantly lead the Church in its fight against evil. While the Holy Father chose the name "Benedict", this does not seem enough to fulfill the prophecy. Nor is it clear how Benedict XVI (a Bavarian) is "Glory of the Olives". Since he is said to have remarked in the Conclave after saying he would take the name Benedict that it was partly to honour Benedict XV, a pope of peace and reconciliation, perhaps Benedict XVI will be a peacemaker in the Church or in the World, and thus carry the olive branch.

is peter the roman not named as apope because Benedict xvi still alive when christ makes his second coming thus not santifing his rein as pontiff because the one before him still lives, will this pontiff destroy the dome of the rock trying to rush the coming of christ

What world was due to end when Biblical New Testament letters were written?  The planet?  The entire earth?  How could that be, according to Eccl 1:4, Psa 78:69 and 104:5, which state that God established our beloved planet forever?

The "time of the end" was simply the end of the Old Covenant AGE.  Jesus was manifested in "these last days" -- the last days of that age, or system of righteousness, which ended in AD 70 at the end of the Roman Jewish War.  Jesus appeared and began to reign in the new "heavens & earth" (New Covenant) when the Temple was destroyed.  WE are the new tabernacles where God dwells ! (Rev. 21:3)

So why are we asking questions about the end of the world, when the world has no end, and the Biblical time of the end is a past event?

No. The valid position of the Catholic Church on the Prophecy of the Popes is that it truly is both a forgery and a mode of divination. there is not any record in any valid biography of St Malachy that he made those claims and it type of feels to were made first in 1595 in a e book commonly used as 'Lignum Vitae'. The mottos are also interpreted with hindsight and are quite contrived. although, apparently, they could were written by potential of Nostradamus.

personally i dont care when... Because Eternal-life doesnt begin when you die. Eternal-life begins when you have accepted the gift of God, Jesus.

Because believing in those things, will make you fearful and will be like martha... "I have to do this, and that, this and that"
