Can christians clarify something for me, were animals created by magic or design?

Love being an atheist. I don't have to prove anything since atheism is an absence of a religion. *Watches christians comment on this question*

@Sam, appendix isn't intelligent, genetic disorder isn't intelligent, men having nipples isn't intelligent, a very vulnerable testicle sticking outside isn't intelligent, nails aren't intelligent either.

@2 Shepherds, so god allow these "satanic" magics to happen? Why doesn't he stop it? That makes him inferior to Satan since he allow all of this bad stuff to happen. Better yet, God created everything and he's all knowing, therefore he created evil, death, pain,disease. And then punish us for planning and creating us to be a "sinner" by burning us for eternal. So what if God "created" cute little flowers and animals? There's still alot more bad than good in this world.

Just because we Christians don't understand the method doesn't make it magic. As far as the design aspect goes just look at the blueprint for each design. Animals have a genetic design instruction set as all biological entities have. These are actual design instruction sets and are found on the double helix of the gene code. Each are unique for each and every animal...no two are exactly alike. The Bible says God spoke things into existence. How he did that goes way beyond our limited human understanding. But, just because we don't understand how he did it doesn't make it any less true. Did he design each and evey one? He created self replicating designs....just imagine if we humans had the capability to make a car that could reproduce...now that would be a technical achievement beyond what we know now, but it could happen in the future! Tech companies like the one I worked for(IBM for 34 years) have self repairing chip-sets and computer code to reduce repair time...at one time this technology didn't exist, but now it does. This wasn't done by magic...it was done by design. Just because we don't understand the technology doesn't make it any less true. The Bible says God's ways are above our ways....this means he's way smarter than we are. No magic...just way way smarter...that's all.

Your question creates a false dichotomy. I'll rephrase your question to show you what I mean. Did animals evolve by chance or design? You can see that neither option reflects what evolution actually says. The same goes for your question. The answer is between the poles you've driven in the ground, and more complicated than you want to admit.

There was a time when I would have spent 45 minutes giving you a substantial answer to how I believe God brought/brings life into the world. Sadly, experience has shown me that would be a waste of effort. If that irritates you, blame all the trolls who plague this site.

First God doesnt use magic thats evil breaking of the laws of nature absent of Gods power. God designed them in His mind then spoke them into existence so its both sorry for the confusion

Designed and adapted. God is an intelligent creator to me, and if you look some animals are just marvels of nature, that have the ability to adapt and change overtime and some still elude humans to this day. Dolphin sonar is still much more advanced than any human made sonar. I believe they were designed.

Magic is a satanic counterfeit of God's miracles. God, therefore doesn't do magic. He creates. To see the truth, read Genesis 1-2.
