in the world today. I'm not talking self proclaimed prophets or spokes persons. I mean actual prophets.

would you celebrate it, and why? The angels celebrated it with songs and made sure we knew it happened. The JW'S use to celebrate it too until Rutherford made sure it wasn't, so what about a different day?

Baptist, Catholics, or Mormons? Can you buy and read books from Christian book stores other than a Bible? Aren't these products considered apostate in nature? What about articles that go directly against your WT doctrines? What do your Elders say about such religious material?

Authority bias: Valuing the opinions of an authority, especially in the evaluation of something you know little about? The Governing Body.
Belief bias: Evaluating the strength of an argument based on the believability of its conclusion? the 1914 invisible presence of Christ as taught by the WTBTS.
Confirmation bias: Seeking and finding confirming evidence in support of already existing beliefs and ignoring or reinterpreting dis-confirming evidence? Such as the 607 bce date when it was really 587 bce. accepted by expert historians.
In-group bias: Where you place more value on the beliefs of those who you perceive to be fellow members of your group (JW'S), and less on the beliefs of those from other groups? Rejecting the tenants of mainstream Christianity, and believing only the GB.
