Jehovah's Witnesses, are angels divine by nature? Are they gods or are they god like.?

Update:

Remember some chose to rebel so they can sin just like men. They still have free will to make a choice. Now are they divine? Do they have power to judge? Do they have power to forgive sin?

Update 2:

Hi Teem,

You said "Although he (Yeshua/Jesus) existed in the FORM of God". Are you admitting Jesus could in fact be God? How do you reduce him to an angel if in fact he existed in the form of God? It didn't say he existed in the form of an angel here...it said God with a big fat G in front. So, how does your training get around that fact?

Update 3:

You will notice that divine has many definitions.

    — adj

    1. of, relating to, or characterizing God or a deity

    2. godlike

    3. of, relating to, or associated with religion or worship: the divine liturgy

    4. of supreme excellence or worth

    5. informal splendid; perfect

It includes 'a god' and 'godlike'.

So yes, the angels are divine. Phil 2:6 "who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,"

Can be applied to any angel. It is the context that identifies Jesus as the one being spoken about.

As to your questions Do they have the power to judge, can they forgive sins?

Yes they are given this power the same way it was given to Jesus. Jesus only has this power because his God and Father gave him the authority to do so.

.Matt 9: 6 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—then He *said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your bed and go home.” 7 And he got up and went home. 8 But when the crowds saw this, they were awestruck, and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

    Matthew 28:18

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

John 5:21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes. 22 For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgement to the Son,

    John 12:49

For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.

    Finally please notice:

Acts 2:22 “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—

All the authority and power Jesus has, has been given to him from his God and Father.

Who gave Jehovah this power is a better question.

I was 8 or 9 years old when a kid at school pointed out to me that most people beleive Jesus is God. I'm 51 years old now and I have for decades thought that it would be awesome if God himself came to earth and died for us. Jesus would be upgraded for me if that was true. But if you were raised to beleive Jesus was God and found out that he wasn't then he would be down graded. I imagine those who love Jesus deeply would feel crushed to learn that. I have more incentive to look at this objectively. What I don't understand is why didn't Philippians 2:6 just say he is God? Why didn't Paul say "Although he IS God..." Instead he said, "Although he is in the FORM of God..." There is a huge difference between those two statements! Please someone tell me why didn't he just say "Although he is God"
