Every nation on the planet that has warm waters will have largemouth bass fishing or one of it's very popular cousins.

Largemouth bass have been introduced into every country and continent except for the coldest parts of the world. They've been sucessfully sustained in Central and South America, Europe, Asia, northern Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, and Madagascar.

In many of those places, they've caused the decline, displacement or extinctions of species in their new habitat. In Lake Biwa, Japan for instance (where Manabu Kurita caught the 22 pound, 5 ounce largemouth tied for World Record with George W. Perry's 22 pound, 4 ounce), largemouth bass are required BY LAW to be caught and killed by beheading on the spot. Nobody does it, though.

Canada has some of the best fishing in the world. Largemouth and smallmouth bass.
