i am seriously considering going to university in the U.S rather than here in the U.K, but i have some questions.

1. can you pick a specific course to study like you do here in the u.k? or are there certain lessons that everyone does? i ask this because on the university website (George Washington university) there doesn't seem to be a way to apply for one specific course. so how do i go about applying for a certain course?

2. what do you do in your spare time? here in the u.k, if you have a week off, you would normally go home to your family, is it the same in the u.s? or do you stay on campus? if you do go home when you have time off, what options would there be for me?

3. what level would i be looking to go onto coming from college? i have heard of masters, bochulars,freshman etc, but i don't know what this all means?? haha.

one of my chickens has started acting strange recently, it has been very cold this winter but they do have a heat lamp in there bed. when she is out during the day she normally walks around and scrapess at the grass, but for the last 3 days she has just been coming out and puffing her feathers up and standing in the same spot all day with her eyes cosed. but when i throw her some worms she runs for them ad eats the just like normal. she is going to the vet on friday, can i do anything to help her untill then?

im going fishing tomorrow at my local canal, im hoping to catch some skimmers, i ran out of maggots today when i was fishing for skimmers so i need a bait i can use tomorrow. any recommendations?

i know that the legal age to move out in the uk is 16, but could you move to another eu country at this age? if your parents signed the contracts for rent?

hi, i was looking on the internet on information for moving to spain at the age of 16, when i found this, i am planning on moving to spain at the end of next year, i would be moving to ampuriabrava, Catalonia. my uncle also lives in ampuriabrava and has lived there for 25 years, we go there every summer and i think its great! Before you start to laugh at this.... i know that the spanish and Catalonia laws do not differ Very much at the moment due to the fact that they are still part of spain, so with my parents consent i can legally work in spain. i can also live in a studio flat that has my parents name on the contract. i have seriously spoken to both my parents and my uncle about this, this summer i am going there for 4 weeks and working on a boat yard to gain work experience and get a full taste of spain. yes i am aware of the unemployment issues in spain at the moment. at the moment i am learning spanish and some Catalonia, i can speak conversational sentences of both at the moment. any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you

i need to know how to remove a barbed treble hook from a pikes mouth, i caught my first pike last week and i had to ask someone to help me remove the hook from the pikes mouth because it had a barb on it, when other people do it it looks so easy but when i try it just wont come out! i have no trouble when im carp fishing and useing barbless hooks. how do i easely remove a barbed hook from a pikes mouth?

also, what is your opinion on barbed or barbless hooks when pike fishing?

can you use barbless hooks for pike?
