Did I get enough stuff? (New puppy, new dog owner) ?

I went out to PetSmart this morning after going to the Vets and bought some stuff for my new 8 week old Boxer puppy. I have never owned a dog before so I got a bunch of stuff, I spent $1,021 in the store which isn't a big deal for me, I put aside over $4,000 to spend on him, over half my savings (but I don't care, I wasn't saving it for a specific reason)

Here is what I got, (that I remember)

Wire Crate

Compact Deep Cleaner

Pet Gate

Food and Water bowl

MuttLuks booties

Exercise Pen

Dog Bed

Collar and Leash

Rain Coat

Natures Miracle Urine Destroyer and Stain Remover

Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil

Dog Hoodie (jacket)

Kong Harness

Snake Toy

Bone Shaped Toy Box (so cute, had to get it)

Poly 50' Training Leash

Multivitamin for Puppy's

Bristle Brush

Tag with information

Martha Stewart Puppy Shampoo

Martha Stewart Puppy Conditioner

Chew Stick

Slicker Brush

Chew Stick (another one)

Octopus Toy

Chuck It toy

Pick-up Bags

ID Tag

Toy Rope

Chuck It ball

Plush Octopus toy

Duck toy

Frog toy

Carrot toy

5 bags of Zukes training treats

Flying Disc

Canned Puppy food

Scrub Brushes

Waste Scooper

Dish soap, gentle and unscented (to clean bowls)

Tooth Brush and Tooth Paste (for dogs)

Container (to hold food)

Water Bottles

Portable food and water bowl

4 Stick Bones

2 Pig ears

1 Kong

Peanut Butter (in a bottle thing) to stuff in Kong

Bed for Crate

Sprayer thing for bathtub to give him bathes

Extra Towels (to dry him off with, I don't want to dry my dog off with a towel that I use...)

Measure cup/food scoop

~~~~
Does it sound like I got everything?? I have him in his playpen right now, he is chewing on a Pig ear. I have put away all my wires and I took up all my carpets/rugs. I am a bit OCD so I like everything to be clean and in place, I also bought containers for his toys... I am new to all this so have no idea if I got too little or too much. Any advice?
Thanks
Update:
Oh, I also got Pet safe salt for my drive way and porch.
Update 2:
If you're not going to give a informative answer then don't answer at all, you've been reported.
And I'm not bragging? This is my first time owning a dog and I had no idea what to get. I figured that if I got a bunch of stuff now it would save me a trip later. What's so wrong with being un-knowledgeable?
Update 3:
I've got a bunch of folders, upside to being a clean freak.. haha
The vet cleaned his ears and did his nails for me, I'll get him to show me how to do it next time. Thanks
Update 4:
I already have dry puppy food, I bought the hardy squishy nyla bones for teething puppies and put them in the freezer, he loves them.
I can see that I did go a bit over-board, but I always do, even when I was little. It's just a habit.
And for REAL emergencies, I had $7,000 in savings so I have $6,000 left and would use it if anything happened.
Update 5:
Okay so I am going to go out and return some stuff...
The Vet I found seemed very nice and he seemed very knowledgeable. He recommended a grain free food.. I think it was called Natural Balance or Evo or something.
I brought a stool sample and they did a urinalysis and he checked him all over with his hands and said he looked good but had allergies so I am going to be switching his food.
Thanks so much everybody for the input, I will return some stuff and switch his food. Thanks again:)
    Thats a pretty good list there. Only things I can see missing are Nail-clippers and styptic. That said, I think you should ask your vet to recommend a pair and to show you how to use them first. IF you do it wrong it hurts and the nails bleed. Occasionally the bleeding will happen, which is why you buy styptic (an antihemorrhagic; i.e. quickstop).
    Be careful what you buy for chew toys: a lot of products, like rawhide, are dangerous for dogs. Go with antlers or nylabone instead. Its also better to give softer items for younger dogs, harder items later on, so that you look our for their teeth.
    Fish oil is great, but it is important to get the correct quantity. Ask your vet for assistance with that first. Also, your vet might have a recommendation for a different type of fish oil.
    You might consider buying a crate to use for your dogs safety when driving. You might consider a harness. You might consider buying a clicker for clicker training.
    ADDITIONAL:
    There are many different options for grooming. I would speak to a groomer first before settling on a particular brush or comb and all that.
    Multivitamins are another troublesome product to buy without veterinary guidance. Settle on high quality food first, like Orijen, then bring your bag with to the vets to show the ingredients and to discuss if there is any need for a multivitamin and if so what amount.
    In my opinion, probably the BEST THING YOU CAN GET FOR A DOG is a "good" veterinarian. Finding a good one can be difficult and its best not to settle on the vet thats closest. Talk to reputable breeders, groomers of show dogs for options. Then meet them, check out their practice and discuss a few things: see if you like them, if you think they like animals, if they are experienced enough.
    Dude. Return half that stuff and save money for medical emergencies IMHO. Or something fun like agility or flyball..he'll enjoy that a lot better than a snake toy! You don't need deep cleaner or boots for example. The pig ears and stick bones may make a puppy sick. Stick with stuffing the kongs with plain yogurt, scramble eggs or ground meat too imo..I don't like the stuff in Kong fillings.
    Something you may need though that I didn't spot on your list is a car seat belt.
    Edit - Pig ears, peanut butter stuffing, nylabone...you're gonna make him sick putting all that crap in his body. One thing to do with dog treats, food and toys is look at ingredients or where it's manufactured and avoid dyes, fillers, China products, BHT, BHA, sugars, plastic that can be swallowed, etc.
    EDIT 2 - 8 week old puppies don't have allergies...they develop after 1 year. Maybe intolerances but there's a difference. Please inform the breeder though, they should know that the dogs they breed aren't turning out 100% healthy. This is a very important stage for your puppy's development! I had a dog with severe allergies. What you do now can help or hurt (unintentionally) 1st thing is only get vaccines that you need like parvo, distemper and rabies. And only get 1 vaccine at a time, or as few at a time. (parvo and distemper are almost always combined) Diet is gonna be important now too. No junk food - just like you wouldn't give a baby human (or any species) a bunch of chocolate or candy to snack on all throughout the day. Don't deworm unless there are actually worms. And try to limit chemical cleaning products. White vinegar can clean puppy accidents just as well as something with a ton of chemicals. Those are the best tips I can give you and I do hope you don't have to go through what me and my dog did.
    LOL, ok, first you have way too much stuff. And I did not see a book on training your dog on the list. I like the carpet cleaner idea..2-3 toys, kennel, bed, grooming supplies, leash and collar, NO Rawhide toys as they can get in the tummy nad as they swell in moist environments I never feed them to the dog. Also no squeaky toys with a boxer or larger breed as often they get the squeaker out and swallow it, Also soft rubber toys are not good for chewers like boxers. They destroy them and often eat them Kong balls and tougher toys for a larger breed and more aggressive chewing breed as Boxers, Shepard's, And pit breeds. NO bones...unless you are there to watch, never let them swallow them...
    Umm booties not needed unless you are where there is a Hot pavement, or salt in the walks like NY where they use chemicals for ice. And pup will outgrow too fast anyway. Better to save the cash for the vet visits and quality foods. Get a food with no corn or wheat products. (Boxers often have allergies) and meat should be the top food on the list. Lamb is easier to digest, so rice and Lamb is good. Sweet potato in feed is also good. Treats need to be carrots, or raw potato, or a quality treat that follows the same guidelines as foods. Take back all the extra toys if not used and keep the durable ones and only 2-3. You can get more as he grows and gets too large for a toy. And use the extra money for dog training classes, Both Petsmart and Petco have classes and many times a local dog club for your breed will as well. :) BE a good and responsible owner/parent to the pet and it will be a happy healthy pet. Add to this a dog can only hold his urine for 1 hour per month old he is. So plan accordingly, and every time he wakes up OUT fast as when they walk they will need to go, and feed 4 times a day. After feeding take the pet out and when the potty tell them Potty as they squat, so they will when older know to go on command. :) lotta work ..yes but worth it for a well rounded pet and good friend for life.
    The only things that I think are missing are some tennis balls and some dry puppy food. Dry food keeps their teeth cleaner and has some of the nutrients found in mothers milk. I would ask the vet before giving him the salmon oil.
    IMO, you've went WAY overboard, but it's your money, not mine. You forgot three things, unless I missed them in this LONG list. You need ear cleaner, a nail clipper or Dremel tool, and a folder to keep all his documents in.
    PetSmart must LOVE you!
    wow you went way overboard! you never want your dog to be spoiled..no one likes a spoiled dog. you should save some of your money in case you run into a REAL emergency (say your dog breaks his leg or needs surgery). MAKE SURE NOT TO SPOIL HIM THOUGH! if you do, he will get used to the spoiled lifestyle. you dont need to buy everything in a store that is labeled "for dogs"
    Do you really think anyone is going to read that long list? Your bragging doesn't impress me.
