Oh the good ol days lol. You can either go to the salon to get waxed, have your husband help you, sit in front of a mirror, or just let it go. They will more than likely shave you at the hospital, nothing fancy or exact in how you're accustomed to, but they do it all the time, so dont feel embarrassed.

Shaving is a personal choice. I know I don't have the right to say this as I am not a Punjabi myself but seriously shaving yourself down there has many advantages when it comes to hygiene & i would advice your friend to go for it. She is not causing any inconvenience to anyone nor is someone's gonna come and check her or something. How frequently one shaves is again a personal issue. I'd say as per convenience. In this case as your friend's husband has made a special request for shaving every week I think she should do it. I mean love is about making other person happy!

I feel your pain! I'm 22 weeks and am already having a hard time with it. Fortunately I've had much of my hair lasered off so there's less on the front side, but with the underside I just have to shave by feel and not sight. For me, it helps to shave in a sort of squatting position, since it pulls the skin taught and makes it easier to avoid nicks and cuts. You might also consider having the hair waxed or threaded by a pro. Don't worry, they've seen plenty a vulva before!

What I do is while in the shower, I shave what I can with just my sense of touch. The top/front area is pretty easy to shave without looking, and I can get most of the hair along bikini line & underside. Then after I get out of the shower I take a towel and lay it on my bed, I sit at an angle with the pillows proped under my lower back and neck. I take a hand mirror and look down there & shave. It's very easy & I get everything I might of missed from earlier.

I am 36 weeks and it is very hard lol but I don't want to be hairy when I give birth so in order to shave even though I really can't see, I usually just use my sense of touch and shave where I feel needs to be shaved and when I get out I look in the mirror and if I missed any spots, which I normally dont, I just remember next time I shower and get it then.

I'm not really at that stage yet. Belly isn't that big. Um if you're really having a hard time you could wax, either at home or with a professional.
