Laptop fan is loud and hot, tried obvious solutions?
My laptop is about 2 years old, has very good specs but even when I'm just browsing the internet, the fan is unbearably loud and the left side of the laptop is always hot (the side that has the fan).
I opened up my laptop several times to clean the fan out but there's no dust in there. So I started to question if it was the fan that wore off from usage and age or if my hard drive or computer overall has a problem. I did checks on my hard drive through programs and they said it was in good condition. I use a laptop cooler everyday but that doesn't really help.
One of the programs I downloaded told me that my cpu is around 74 degrees celcius, system 66 degrees, core 76 degrees, gpu 67 degrees. I have no idea where or what they are but the high numbers are a concern. This is even when I have my cooler on.
It has been like this since last year and it's REALLY starting to annoy me. Whenever I skype call with my friends, they can hear it loud and clear. I need to have headphones on to listen to something or else I can't hear anything
Should I format my laptop? Should I replace my fan? Get a new harddrive?
Please help :(

There are two things that come to mind. When you say you cleaned the fan, does that mean, you took the heat sink out as well? If so, and you cleaned it properly, you also needed to add thermal paste on the CPU before putting it back. If you haven't taken out the heat sink, start with that.
The other problem that might occur, is if the heat sink lost its interior gas. You can check that by holding one end of the heat sink and heating the other end with a lighter. If it's ok, you should feel it warming up at the other end too after a few seconds.
PS. Reinstalling will have no effect on how hot your computer gets. It's clearly a hardware problem.

Your laptop is overheating plenty. a solid element to do may be: get some compressed air and clean the followers, or you're able to do the cheap technique and use a vacuum, get a cooling pad and save your pc clean by using applying registry cleaners and different issues. alongside with that get this technique velocity fan and placed the followers at one hundred% or in spite of you desire. velocity fan is loose too. Do all of this and you will probable be superb. the final element you're able to do is probably restoration it or upload an exterior fan(i do no longer understand if there are such for laptops there are for computers) to the laptop. desire I helped!
