I took it, made a 93, and decided on choosing the MOS 11B (infantry).

In order to maximize your results make sure you do good on the paragraph comprehension and word knowledge parts of the test since these two will be combined in order to create your VE ( verbal expression) which greatly influences your overall AFQT score.

Your AQFT score will be determined by the two math sections, paragraph comprehension section, and the word knowledge portion ( which, as I mentioned earlier, is combined to create your VE score).

The rest of the sections have no effect on your AFQT score (i.e. you could make a zero on all of them and still max out on the AFQT score.) HOWEVER, do your best on each of these sections as they will be combined with other parts of the test in order to determine what jobs you actually qualify for.

It is an inherent ability test that measures present potential and future skills to study detailed themes. It is usually used as one among many tools to examine qualifications for the U.S. Army. The rankings are given to the university as well because the army to check interests and qualifications. The essential portions of the experiment are the overall reading comprehension and the mathematics. If any one can not comprehend what they're reading, or their abilities in math (good judgment) are missing it's quality to seek out that out whilst nonetheless in university. There are colleges throughout the country that offer this experiment to fill a required square in their curriculum. If a scholar learns that their current expertise usually are not up-to-speed it's great that they be taught that while nonetheless in excessive university so they are able to gain knowledge of it for free, instead than pay for remedial guides in institution. Too let you know the truth, if any individual is so oblivious to their world around them to believe that taking a flair scan in excessive tuition believes that this will likely motive them to be enlisted in the army, they don't seem to be vibrant adequate to qualify for the USA navy.

I scored 40/40 but consider this. If you score really well and get an MOS that's like computer engineer, do you really want to be a computer engineer? However, if you score too low, you'll just wind up infantry, but maybe that's what you want? I'd just keep studying and don't stress it.
