How to make a mix-tape?

This may be a dumb question. However, I was born in '96, so I am genuinely lost on how to make a mix-tape. I'm from a generation of iTunes and the occasional CD. Hey, I didn't choose when I was born. Yet, I absolutely love the idea of giving someone a mix-tape as a present. My parents have quite a few lying around the house and I really want to make my own. So, any step by step instructions? Thanks in advance :)

A lot peoples tape players do work anymore . so why dont make a mix CD . same thing right ?

just down load the songs you want onto your computer using the media player in your comp.

then you can burn those songs onto a cd using your comp.

you can also down load songs from youtube free using ... "youtube music downloader " ,, free program. " tune grabber " also free. i have used tune grabber to record lots of music off the internet.

to do it using a cassette tape... you just put the tape in your cassette tape player of their stereo system and use the record function to record individual songs one at a time onto the tape.

you play a cd or record and record the songs onto the tape.. stop the tape , pick another song , then record that song . until you fill the tape with songs.
