I am really excited to buy gifts for my friends this year, but I am unsure what to get them. I have four friends that I am struggling with ideas with, and I was hoping for some help :)

Sarah, 16 : She really likes American Eagle, so I considered a gift card, but I wanted something more personal than that. I also know she likes ice hockey a lot (The capitals)

Kaileigh, 16: She likes anything girly and One Direction, but like the previous, I feel as though it would be hard to get her a unique gift in that area.

Casey, 17: She wants to be a tattoo artist when she's older, I considered getting her a book about it. She's pretty grungey and also likes drawing and painting music, so I considered getting her a record, but her taste is pretty out there.

Kate, 17: She's a huge book worm. I am pretty sure her favourite author is John Green, but she has read all of his books. She's really philosophical and brooding, so I want this gift to mean something.

I would like to keep the price range between $10 - 20. I know this is cheap, but I would like to buy a lot of people at least a little something and I can't afford to get them all lavish gifts. Thanks in advance :)

Most of the guy friends I've had in the past have liked me at one point or another. But this one in particular is making it hard for me to tell. We hung out a lot over the summer, sometimes just us two, sometimes in groups. He's called me pretty, said I was different from other girls, and said he enjoys spending time with me. And he always wants to drive me, even though I could easily drive myself. Yet something about it just seems very friends-ish. I understand that girls and guys can be just friends, but he's so in the middle I can't tell. I don't think I like him though, but I probably wouldn't reject him.

I guess my question is: Is there such thing as a friendzone?

My iPhone 4S isn't charging. It's a fairly new, I got it about 2 months ago. It hasn't always done this, it just hasn't charged since last night. I found some blue powdery stuff in the bottom part (it looked like dried toothpaste, but my toothpaste isn't that color). I managed to clean all of it out because there was barely any, but it still won't charge. Any help?

I was wondering if there is any graphic design software for free that wouldn't give me viruses? Thanks in advance and links would be appreciated :)

I really want a job and start making my own money so it only makes sense for me to get a job. I have my work permit (gives adolescents under 18 permission to work legally). But I know a lot of jobs don't hire until you're 18. What places hire 16 year olds? Thanks in advance :)

My cat is by far the sweetest thing and always affectionate to everyone in the household including my other pets. However, if we have guests over, she runs for her life and will hide, sometimes for more than a day and it really stresses her out. Is there a way to get my cat to like strangers more? I know this is just part of her personality, I guess, but I don't like how upset she gets.

PS my cat does not have an abusive history at all and is very loved :)

I hate to be among the other thousands of sixteen year olds for dating advice, but I can't answer this myself. I kinda like this guy and from what other guy friends have told me and basic instinct, he shows 95% of the signs of liking me. BUT, he hasn't made a huge move to ask me out other than persisting to give me a ride home. He's not a shy guy so why is he waiting? I think I'm being pretty obvious I like him and I'm sick of being in a flirtationship stage. Thanks in advance :)

Okay so...

I liked this one guy and this guy, i was 99% sure, liked me back. Now, for some reason and really abruptly, the flirting just stopped. Then another guy, his friend, likes me a lot. I kinda, just a little like him too. I would go out with him, but I feel as though my mind would always wander to guy 1, who i still care for, which isn't fair to guy 2. If you're still with me, thank you. Anyways, I don't know what to do. I can't tell if guy 1 has feelings for me or not, it wavers on different days, and i need to move on. You see, if i dated guy 2, then i could never go out with guy 1 later on if feelings came up again, because they're friends. Gah. I know this is dumb question, but it's causing me distress. thanks in advance! :)

My sister did the classic faucet prank. I was literally soaked. Now I need help with revenge. I've already put up like 20 pictures of Rosie O'Donnell over her room, but I don't think that's clever or enough. So I also tied all her underwear together. But I feel like I need a big bang to end this all nicely :)

Je parle un peu francais.

I've been taking french in school for about four years now, and I had to drop the class for next year to fit in more required classes. Anyways, I don't want to forget everything I have learned. Also, I would like to be more comfortable speaking it, as my strong suit is mostly reading and writing. I do know quite a lot of the language, but I want to be able to hold a conversation. Any advice on how to make this easier? Thanks in advance!

This guy mentioned how he wants tickets to a concert of a band we both like. Jokingly, I responded, "You lucky bastard" and he said "You can still go." Which seems completely nonchalant. But this is where I got confused. He was walking me to chem as always, and when we went our separate ways he said "I'll tell you if I can get a ticket"

I've been stuck on this guy for a while now, and I feel like just straight out telling him. But I am TERRIFIED things will get awkward, because we are friends.

I catch him staring at me, he tries to get into my conversations (find excuses to talk to me) he compliments my clothes, tries to make me laugh, asks how my day has been, pulls a chair out for me... etc.

I guess my question is, if I tell him how I feel, what are the odds he'll feel the same? I'm a teenage girl and I am terrified. Thanks in advance :)

He's a good looking funny guy, who could probably have just about any girl in the school. We've been friends for a couple months and there are some things I'm picking up on. For instance, he'll try anything to get into my conversation or talk to me, even if he's across the room and I've caught him staring at me. Anyways, I was wondering, how likely is it that a guy friend would like you?

This may be a dumb question. However, I was born in '96, so I am genuinely lost on how to make a mix-tape. I'm from a generation of iTunes and the occasional CD. Hey, I didn't choose when I was born. Yet, I absolutely love the idea of giving someone a mix-tape as a present. My parents have quite a few lying around the house and I really want to make my own. So, any step by step instructions? I had recently lost my iPod touch :'( and i am now miserable. But, I found my old iPod. I cant seem to find the name, its small and mint green not a touch screen no internet access etc. How to I transfer songs from my iTunes to my old iPod?

I normally would consider myself pretty good with this kind of stuff, but I am stuck. I really like the look of knee high socks and chunky boots, but every time I wear it, I feel I like a little slutty? Like a school girl themed stripper? Anyways, any suggestions? :)

I was just watching Doctor Who (where they go back to 1599 and visit Shakespeare) and they mentioned that Shakespeare's son Hamnet died. I knew about Hamnet for school, but I never made the connection to Hamlet, if there is one. Hamlet is a story about father and son, so I was wondering if someone could enlighten me, or if it was a coincidence. Thank you!

I like this guy quite a bit, but I am scared I'm in the friendzone or one of the boys. I'm really girly and all, but I have a tendency to make dirty jokes and some days I'm sure he likes me, other days I think not. How can you tell when you're in the friendzone?
