Savage Hog Hunter a good coyote rifle?
I was looking at the Savage Hog hunter and was wondering if its a good coyote rifle. I personally like the short barrel and it's a bolt action. How much does one usually cost? Does it keep good groups at about 100 yards. I want to get it in .223. Is it a good Buy?

Savage makes very good rifles. I have shot several of them but not a hog hunter. There's no reason it wouldn't be as good as the others i've shot. The hog hunter is threaded for a suppressor which would be nice. If you look i'm sure you could easily find some reviews on it. You should be able to find one for about $450.00 new.

With the a million:9 twist, your sixty 9 grainers will probable be worse, a minimum of at long selection, nevertheless they could do ok at one hundred. the 1st suggestion i could have is to neck-length your brass somewhat than finished-length resizing, in case you at the instant are not doing that already. i could stay with the benchrest primers, and till now you get too a strategies in you investment in different propellants, get a Stoney element/Hornady gauge to work out the place those bullets are regarding the leade of your rifle, then play with dissimilar lengths. it fairly is probably a number of those bullets are traveling a spectacular distance of freebore till now they bounce to the lands, and that they are able to be finicky approximately such issues.
