What should I watch, 'The Godfather' or 'Gran Torino'?
I'm trying to decide what movie to watch, should I watch The Godfather or Gran Torino. I'm not in a mood, just want to watch a good movie! Thanks for all help :)

The Godfather is one of the best of all time, but it is not particularly entertaining outside of the scenes with Vito and the bathroom scene with Michael (one which I won't spoil). It's not a movie I could go back and watch every couple of months. From a cinematography perspective, it's beautiful, and the story is top notch, but you have to be in the mood for it. Gran Torino is obviously not as good, but the story is a little more engaging and Clint is hilarious as a senile old man. If both were on TV right now and I could only watch one, it'd be Gran Torino. Do watch both though; doesn't matter what order.

Both are very good movies, so you can not go wrong with those two choices. My preference would be for The Godfather. But I would also watch Gran Torino at some time in the near future also. Just sit back and enjoy your selection.

Don't listen to Kirsty, If you can only watch one then I absolutely recommend The Godfather and keep in mind that whenever you see oranges someone is about to die :P

Both are great movies, I suggest you watch both. But I think it depends on your mood. You should definitely watch both of them.
